extension Background I. Organizational Context Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is a United Nation agency which
provides technical assistance in Indonesia. One of our projects
since 2006 provides support for the control of Avian Influenza, in cooperation
with national and regional Indonesian government livestock authorities. Project
activities are conducted in various locations nationwide.
Under the overall supervision of the FAO Representative in Indonesia and A-FAOR
(Administration), receives guidance from Senior Administrative/ Finance Officer
and Operations Officer, direct supervision of Finance Assistant; Administrative
& finance clerk will perform administrative and clerical duties for the
Programme and helps coordinate field activities for the project.
Duties and Responsibilities

Expected Summary of key functions:
Provide payment detail
on daily basis made by FAOR to FAO projects in Indonesia, by updating monitoring
tools provided
Assist FAOR finance
unit for filling purposes as requested
Cross check commitments prior
payment processes as requested
Assist FAOR finance unit in
document review for payment purpose & ensure proper documentation and
arrange proper record for payment before finalize by finance assistant or
representative during the activities assigned
Ensure that the office filing
systems and inventory records are properly maintained for easy retrieval
Perform daily Operations unit
works; photocopy and send documents, correspondent, assist on Operations
meeting.
Prepare banking transfer
instruction.
Draft letter or email as
requested.
Perform other duties as
required
III. Impact of Results The key results have an impact on the success of FAO/ GOI Avian Influenza
Control Programme implementation in Indonesia.

V. Recruitment Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience:
Min of 2 years experience in
related field
previous employment in
international organizations preferably within the UN specialized agencies
Proficiency in MS Office,
particularly Word, Excel and Power Point Language Requirements: Good knowledge of the
English language , written and verbal communications
